Agree with your sentiments.  As you note, we are strongly influenced by Goldratt, but I found extreme frustration at applying his ideas in large organisations where departments can&#039;t bear to be &quot;system thinkers&quot;.

As an example about batch size that we met with a client.  The lean people were pushing for smaller batch size, but when the customer was eventually asked what they would like,  the batch size was increased!
